June 4th 2010:
Two very important fundraising events are nearly upon us.

On Saturday June 11th the Fifa World Cup begins and Setanta is running a prediction contest. It is $10 to enter and is alot of fun whether you know much about soccer or not. Click here to view details and enter

The most important event happens on Saturday June 12th. The second Setanta Race night is being held at Brewleys Pint Irish Pub in Pacific Beach. Race nights are always great fun. The event starts at 6.30pm. Click Hereto read more about the race night works and how you can help
May 31st 2010:Next game up for Setanta is a road trip to play the Phoenix Gaels. Only a short 6 hour drive, this is Setantas first visit to Phoenix since 2005. the The plan is to leave Friday after work and return on Sunday around 2pm. We will be staying in the Tempe area. More details to follow

May 22nd 2010:Setanta played their first game of the year on May 2nd against the Los Angeles Wild Geese. With a good mixture of old Irish veterans and American born players, Setanta were never in trouble against the Geese. Best for Setanta was Mark Hegarty in midfield and Dermot Gilligan, introduced as a second half sub, scoring 7 points from play

April 27th 2010:Our first training session of the year will be this coming Monday May 3, 2010, 6:00 PM at La Jolla High School, continuing every Monday and Wednesday at La Jolla High School at 6:00 PM until further notice.

March 17th 2010:The awards night for the Setanta 2009 season were held on Saturday March 6th at the Stout Pub in downtown San Diego. With an attendance of over 75 people a great night was head. In addition to the player awards, The Junior B team received their North American medals. Presented by San Diegos Irish orator, Mick Ward, everyone got a good mention which added to the fun of the night. Below are the player award winners and photos from the night can be viewed here.

    • March 16th 2010: The 2010 Setanta A.G.M. was held before the Awards Night which helped ensure a good turnout, even if it started one hour late. With the meeting lasting a club record of 42 minutes, the following board members were elected for the 2010 season and the outcome of the motions and proposals can be viewed here(Members Only)
